About the program…
The IRS formed its Global High Wealth (GHW) industry to take an enterprise approach to examining the federal tax obligations of high wealth/ high income individuals. A GHW examination focuses on individuals who typically conduct their affairs through sophisticated financial, business, and investment arrangements and complicated legal structures. By taking a unified look at the entire economic picture of high wealth individuals and the entities they control, the Service strives to have a positive impact on tax compliance.
