About the program…

Like the Federal Estate Tax, the Federal Generation Skipping Transfer Tax (GST) is repealed for 2010. Also like the Estate Tax, with no action by Congress, the GST will return in 2011 at a top rate of 55%. Unlike the Estate Tax, however, the temporary GST repeal provides planning opportunities for those planning to live through the balance of this year.
