About the Presenters
Paul Caspersen has 25 years of financial, estate, and charitable planning experience. Most recently, 2012-2022, Paul served as Assistant Vice President and Sr. Philanthropic Advisor at the University of Florida. He is the Founder of Planned Giving Interactive (PGI), a charitable planning software & consulting organization. Paul is also a national board member of NAEPC and in 2011 he published the book, "Direction Memo: How to Write a Letter of Instructions for Your Estate Plan," and is regularly published in peer-reviewed journals such as Trusts & Estates.
Dorna Moini is the CEO and founder of Gavel (www.gavel.io), an easy but powerful platform for building document automation and client-facing legal products. Prior to starting Gavel, Dorna was a litigator at Sidley Austin. There, in her pro bono practice, she worked with legal aid organizations to build a web application for domestic violence survivors to complete and file their paperwork, which led to the idea for Gavel. Dorna is on the Legal Services Corporation Emerging Leaders Council and a member of LAFLA's Advisory Board. She was named an ABA Legal Rebel and a Fastcase 50 honoree. She also teaches the Legal Innovations Lab at USC Law School.
Imaan Moughal is a Trusts and Estates Attorney at Manice Budd & Baggett and an Adjunct Professor of Law at Hofstra Law School teaching Estate Administration. Imaan is an active member of the Trusts and Estates bar at a local, state and national level.
Sheryl Rowling is a CPA and Personal Financial Specialist who has been active in the financial world for over 40 years. She founded Rowling & Associates, an award-winning wealth management firm, as well as Total Rebalance Expert, rebalancing software acquired by Morningstar. Currently Sheryl is Editorial Director, Investment Advice at Morningstar, where her primary role is to share her vast industry knowledge both internally and externally through writing and speaking.
Continuing Education – EPC Cleveland will request approval for this program from the CFP® Board of Standards for CFP® designation holders and from the Supreme Court of Ohio for Ohio attorneys to receive CLE credit. A certificate of completion will also be available for those AEPs, CPAs, and CWS designees who feel the program satisfies their continuing education requirements. The council strongly recommends that those who are self-reporting check with their governing body to determine the eligibility of continuing education credit for an on-demand distance-learning program.
Reservation Policy – All attendees are encouraged to register in advance. There is no fee to attend the program. Each member is permitted to bring one non-member guest.
Parking and Location Information – The Bernstein office is located in Key Tower (127 Public Square, Cleveland OH 44114). Complimentary validated parking is available either via self-parking underneath the building (accessed via St. Clair), or via valet at the Marriott (attached to the Key Tower). Bernstein will provide validation tickets for both at the event. Once inside the lobby of the Key Tower, please show your ID to the security desk so you can gain clearance to the elevator bank. Bernstein’s offices are on the 50th floor, Suite 5000.
