East Side Breakfast - Planning the Disposition and Management of Closely-Held Businesses sponsored by Sequoia Financial Group
Join us for breakfast and networking at 8:00am and the program will begin at 8:20am.
Please note the special time and location of this event.
About the Program: The issues arising from the need to retain key employee/managers in closely-held, often family owned, businesses is analyzed from both the owner’s perspective as well as the key manager/employee’s vantage point. The program has an emphasis on practical solutions including equity participation by key employees and phantom/golden handcuff arrangements. The issues related to passing on the family enterprise or selling it are discussed including how a sale or transfer to the next generation impacts the successful operation of the enterprise and the motivation of the key contributors. This will be a repeat presentation from the west side breakfast held on September 25, 2019.
