About the speaker…
Joseph M. Mentrek is a Vice-President and the Director of the Wealth Center at Meaden & Moore, Ltd., a Cleveland-based Public Accounting, Business Advisory and Financial Services firm. In his role as practice leader, Joe spends his time coordinating the delivery of sophisticated estate, family business succession, and comprehensive retirement and personal financial planning services on behalf of the firm’s high net-worth individual clients, corporate executives, and closely-held business owners. Prior to joining Meaden & Moore in 1997, Joe practiced at McCarthy, Lebit Crystal & Liffman Co., LPA and Ernst & Young, LLP. Joe is admitted to practice law in the state of Ohio and also holds his FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses. Joe earned both his JD and BSBA, with high distinction, from Ohio Northern University, Ada, Ohio. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, the Tax Club of Cleveland and the Estate Planning Council of Cleveland where he served as a past President and Board member. He has served on the advisory councils of several local charitable organizations, and is currently active with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Partners in Philanthropy, and the Cleveland Chapter of the American Red Cross Planned Giving Advisory Board. Joe is a frequent speaker, author, and blogger on topics concerning estate planning, family business succession planning, estate, gift and income taxation and personal financial planning.

Meeting cost is $25 for members when paid in advance before noon 02/09/15, $40 for members at the door, $40 for guests, and $200 for a table of six guests (please submit names to admin@epccleveland.org by 02/06/15). If you reserve and are unable to attend, please call the office to cancel by noon 02/09/15 to avoid a no-show reservation billing.
Continuing Education – EPC Cleveland will request credit for this program from the CFP® Board of Standards for CFP® designation holders. In addition, a certificate of completion will be available for those CTFAs, CPAs, and CWS designees who feel the program satisfies their continuing education requirements.
